We sell the ingredients for our Taste Cafe throughout the market, but we also showcase some of the ways in which they can be prepared. The Executive Chef, Chase Gersetnbacher, features the produce and fresh meats from Double Brook Farm and responsible local farms in soups, salads, sandwiches and entrees. The blackboard menus highlight the best flavors of the season and our dishes will show off what other eateries try to hide with copious seasoning and overzealous sauces: real flavor. The offerings will reflect what’s in season – tomatoes in Summer, Butternut Squash in Fall and Asparagus in Spring. Our staff will be happy to help with suggestions for dinner to make at home, instructions on reheating, or planning that last-minute cocktail party.
Plus, our prepared foods case is perfect for shortcuts to a great tasting meal at home. Choose from lasagna, meatloaf, vegetarian salads, chicken cutlets and our house favorite meat pies.
